Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains what Onemaker.io (India) — “Onemaker”, “we”, “us” — collects when you use the Service, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

The Service is run by Onemaker.io, Plot No. 3, Dariyapur, Post Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh 247451, India. This policy is governed by the laws of India. We decide how your data is used.

The short version

  • To sign you in we need an email address. We never ask for your phone number, postal address, date of birth or gender.
  • What you upload and make is used to make your videos, on our own computers. We don't sell your data, and we don't send your projects, files or songs to outside AI companies. Two things go to Google's Gemini API, and only when you ask: the lyric lines you choose to translate, and what you type into the help chat.
  • Analytics and ad measurement load only if you say yes in the cookie bar — to both (“Accept”) or one by one (“Customize”). You can change that at any time.
  • You can delete your account yourself, from your account settings, and ask us for a copy of your data.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, also the name and profile picture Google shares — nothing else from your Google account. You sign in with a code we email you, or with Google. Your email preferences, and — when you change them — the time and your IP address, as the record of your choice.

What you make. The files you upload (images, music, video), your projects with their text and lyrics, and the videos you export.

Payments. If you subscribe, Razorpay or PayPal takes the payment. We keep the subscription and payment reference they give us — never your card or bank details.

Messages. What you send through the contact form or a feature request, with your email and name, and any screenshot you attach.

How you use the Service. Your IP address, to apply the fair-use limits on free features (lyrics, previews, uploads and the free tools) and to stop abuse. When something breaks in your browser, an error report with the page's address and your browser's name and version. If you are not signed in, a random visitor ID keeps the free limits and your unsaved work together.

How we use it

  • to run the Service — render your videos, transcribe your lyrics, run the free tools, keep you signed in;
  • to apply the free limits and stop abuse;
  • to answer you when you write to us;
  • to send the emails the Service needs — sign-in codes, and notices about your account, your videos and your plan; the reminders among them can be switched off in your email preferences, and product news comes only if you switch it on;
  • to take payments, and to meet our legal duties; and
  • with your yes in the cookie bar, to measure how the site is used and whether our ads work.

We don't sell your personal data.

Who else sees it

We share personal data only with the companies that help us run the Service, and only what each needs:

WhoFor what
Amazon Web Services (United States)Our servers and file storage — everything the Service keeps
MongoDB AtlasOur database — your account, your projects and the counts for the free limits
CloudflareStorage for the free tools' files, for up to two days
GoogleSign-in with Google; the fonts the editor loads; our email (Google Workspace); the lyric lines you ask to translate (Gemini API); and, only with your yes, Google Analytics and Google Ads
Google (Gemini API)The help chat: what you type in it, to answer you
Razorpay, PayPalPayments — Razorpay's checkout is filled in with your name and email
Meta, LinkedIn, HotjarAd and usage measurement — only with your yes
SentryError reports from our servers and from your browser, with email addresses masked — no screen recording

Our own render computers make your videos, transcribe your lyrics and run the free tools, so they receive your project's text and files. They are ours, not a service we rent. We also disclose data when the law requires it.

AI

The lyrics feature transcribes your song on our own computers. When you add a translation, the lyric lines you picked — only those lines, with the two language names — are sent to Google's Gemini API, which returns them translated; we keep the result in your project like any other edit. Nothing else leaves: not your song, your files, your project or your account. We don't send your projects, files or songs to outside AI companies.

The help chat on our site is an AI assistant. What you type into it is sent to Google's Gemini API, together with our own help pages and — when you are signed in — your plan's name and today's export count, so it can answer you; card numbers and sign-in codes are removed before anything is sent. It cannot change your account. We keep the chat for 30 days, without your email or your network address; deleting your account deletes it too. Answers can be wrong; for anything important, use “Email our team”.

Cookies

We set a few cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your choices and to apply the free limits. You stay signed in for up to 30 days of use, 7 days without use; then you sign in again. Analytics and ad measurement set their own — only after you say yes to them. Every cookie is listed in our Cookie Policy; to change your choice, .

International data transfer

Our servers and storage are in the United States, so your data is stored and processed outside the country where you live if that is not the US, where data-protection laws may differ. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure and handled as this policy says.

Security

Connections to the Service are encrypted, the sign-in cookie cannot be read by scripts on the page, and a sign-in code expires after 10 minutes. No system is completely secure, however. If you believe your account is no longer safe, tell us straight away.

Retention

We keep your data while you use the Service, and for the times below.

Videos you export on the free plan are kept for 15 days after they are made, then deleted automatically. Earlier previews made while you edit are deleted after 15 days; each project's latest preview and thumbnail stay with the project. Files uploaded without an account are deleted after 30 days, and projects made without an account 30 days after they were last edited. Your account's projects, and videos exported on a paid plan, are kept until you delete them or close your account.

  • Files you give the free tools are deleted as soon as the job finishes; what the tool makes, within one to two days.
  • Files you upload while signed in are kept so your projects keep working. Deleting your account removes them; deleting one project does not yet — write to us and we delete them.
  • Error reports: 30 days. Our record of the emails we send you: 180 days. Sign-in codes: 10 minutes.
  • Help chat messages: 30 days.
  • The counts behind the free limits — a number next to your email, or next to a network address for visitors who are not signed in — are kept so the limits work. Deleting your account removes the ones tied to your email.
  • A deleted file can stay in our storage's version history for up to 30 days, and in backups for up to 60 days.

When you delete your account

In your account settings, Delete account asks for a code we email you. Your plan is cancelled at the end of its billing period, you are signed out everywhere, and the account is deleted 30 days later — sign in before then to cancel the deletion.

Then we delete your projects and the videos made from them, your edit history, and your brand kit with its fonts. Messages you sent us stay, without your name and email, and so does our record of the emails we sent you, without your address. Records of payments and plan changes are kept, as tax and accounting law requires. What is left of the account itself is a record with no email, name or picture.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. If a parent or guardian believes their child has given us information without consent, they should contact us and we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable.

Your rights

  • See it — write to us at support@onemaker.io or through our Contact page, and we send you one file with what your account holds: your account, your subscriptions, your projects and your brand kit.
  • Fix it — change your name in your account settings, or write to us.
  • Delete it — Delete account, as above, or write to us.
  • Say no — to the emails you can switch off, in your email preferences; to analytics and ad measurement, in cookie settings.
  • Take it elsewhere — that file is plain JSON, readable by anything.

For anything else, write to us and say which data and which right. We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we answer within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, write to us and we will reply within 30 days. If our answer does not settle it, you may contact your local data-protection authority.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
