Change the key of any song

Up to twelve semitones, the speed untouched. Free, no signup, the whole song.

How it works

about a minute
  1. Drop your song

Any of the formats listed, up to 200 MB. It goes straight to storage — never through our web server.

  2. Pick the shift

−12 to +12 semitones — one semitone is one key. The tempo stays exactly as it was; formants are kept so a voice still sounds like a voice.

  3. Download, or make a video

One file back, on a player. Then add it in the editor's Audio tab and make a lyric video in the new key.

Questions

Is it really free?
Yes — no signup, no watermark, the whole song. The 200 MB limit exists to stop abuse, not to sell you a plan.
Will it change the speed?
No. This is a pitch shift, not a speed change — the beat stays where it was. For speed, the BPM Changer is next door.
Why does +8 sound strange?
Past about ±6 semitones any pitch shifter starts to sound processed — the harmonics no longer sit where the ear expects. Small shifts (a key or two) are what the tool is for.
What happens to my song?
Your upload is deleted the moment the shift finishes. The result stays for 24 hours so you can come back for it, then it is deleted too.
